WHO WE ARE

We’re a family of tennis players, adventure-seekers and adventure-enablers, Grateful Dead fans, barbecue smoke-masters, and film festival lovers. We have served our community by holding public office, volunteering, and sponsoring festivals and events. We’re also fifth-generation and third-generation Orcas Islanders and we’ve run a few of the longest-standing businesses in Eastsound, but Island Life is the first one we’ve built from the ground up and we are excited by that.

WE PROMISE

We promise to be a leave-no-trace company and to work hard to find the most innovative, environment-friendly, socially responsible, and creative outdoor clothing, gear, shoes, travel products, and backyard products made on the planet. We’re also proud to support brands that are benefit corps, carbon-neutral, and part of the 1% Planet Give Back program. We do not take our community or our island for granted. As we grow, we aim to support Pacific Northwest and island-made products while inspiring as much goodwill as possible.
