Guy is a trail ultra-runner, hiker, paddler of small boats. He has worked with retail stores and apparel products in dozens of cities and more than one continent. Ask him about the best hiking trails on Orcas, cider-making tips, or which is the best ice-cream flavor at Cascade Lake.

Rick and Marlace are tennis players, adventure-seekers and adventure-enablers, Grateful Dead fans, barbecue smoke-masters, and film festival lovers. They have run a few of the longest-standing businesses in Eastsound, but Island Life is the first one they built from the ground up.

When not welcoming locals and visitors to Eastsound, Nick can be found in the Salish Sea kayaking or making music. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he traded a career in technology startups for an island life. Nick serves the community by volunteering at local non profits like OCRC and Orcas Montessori, where his wife Sophie is the head teacher.
